Scan fast, even when it is busy
A USB or Bluetooth scanner reads straight into the till. A barcode it does not know can be linked to a product on the spot.
Scan bottles and cans quickly at a busy counter, sell singles, six-packs and cases at their own prices, count the store room without guessing, and close every till with a cash-up that shows short or over the same night.
Every bottle accounted for.

Features
A USB or Bluetooth scanner reads straight into the till. A barcode it does not know can be linked to a product on the spot.
Each pack size has its own price and barcode, and stock is counted in units.
Open a second till for the Friday rush; each has its own float and cash-up.
The cashier counts the drawer without seeing what it should hold. Short and over show the same night, with a name.
Record cash taken out of the drawer during the day, so the cash-up still balances.
Count the shop floor and the store room separately, without the expected figure. Large differences are flagged.
A delivery’s lines must match the supplier’s slip total before the stock goes in.
Every sale, refund, discount and drawer opening is linked to a staff code, in a tamper-evident audit trail.
Bottle stores lose margin in small amounts: a case short on a delivery, a till short at close, a bottle that never made it to the shelf. Gestion POS puts those in one place.

How it works in practice
The case of lager scans at its case price.
Two bottles of white wine and two bags of ice.
The customer hands over R700 and the change, R50.05, shows straight away.
Print the slip or skip it, and the till is ready for the next person.
At close, count the drawer blind. Expected, counted and short or over are recorded.
Questions
Gestion POS does not do these today. If one matters to your shop, say so when you book a demo.
Yes. Each pack size has its own price and barcode, and stock is counted in units, so a case sale takes the right number off.
Yes. You can run several tills in your shop, each with its own float, sessions and cash-up.
No. Age checks remain the responsibility of your staff and your shop.
Cash sales can carry on. Each one is saved on the till with its own slip number and sent when the connection is back, within limits you set. Card, QR and EFT payments, returns and slip printing need the connection.
Only if you switch discounts on and give them permission. Above a limit you set, a supervisor approves with their own code, and every discount is recorded.
Tell us what you sell and how you work. We will show you the till, the stock screens and the reports on a shop like yours.
